Apple plans to introduce over 15 new products later this year.

Apple’s Upcoming Product Launches in 2024

• Apple plans to release over 15 new products before the end of the year, including significant updates to its iPhone, iPad, Mac, and wearable lines, alongside new smart home devices.

• The iPhone 17 lineup will feature a new iPhone Air model, a potential rebranding of the Pro Max to ‘iPhone Ultra,’ and upgrades like ProMotion displays, improved cameras, and the A19 Pro chip.

• New Macs and iPads are expected, with the debut of the M5 chip in the MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models, while updates to the AirPods Pro (with heart-rate monitoring), Apple Watch (including 5G and hypertension sensors), and Apple TV are also anticipated.

• Further additions include a new HomePod, a smart home command center called ‘HomePad,’  AirTag 2 with improved range and privacy, and potential updates to the Vision Pro and Pro Display XDR, rounding out a substantial year for Apple hardware releases.

Apple is set to launch over 15 new products later this year, following five new releases already this year. Key offerings include:

1. **iPhone 17 Family**
   – **iPhone 17**: Features a ProMotion display for the first time, enhancements to the selfie camera, and other improvements.
   – **iPhone 17 Air**: Known for its thin design and futuristic appearance but includes some compromises.
   – **iPhone 17 Pro**: Upgraded camera system, enhanced memory, and featuring the new A19 Pro chip.
   – **iPhone 17 Pro Max**: Offers increased battery capacity due to its thicker design and reduced display cutout.

2. **M5 Macs and iPads**:
   – Following the launch of two new iPads and two Macs earlier this year, more are on the way, featuring the new M5 chip.
   – **New Mac Pro**: Likely equipped with an M3 Ultra chip, resembling the recent Mac Studio, with a slight chance of a redesign.
   – **M5 MacBook Pro**: The first device with the M5 chip, alongside options for M5 Pro and M5 Max.
   – **M5 iPad Pro**: Minimal rumors about design, but likely featuring the M5 chip and possibly the new C1 modem.

3. **Wearables Updates**:
   – Significant updates are planned for AirPods and Apple Watch models.
   – **AirPods Pro 3**: Expected to have improved noise-cancelling, heart-rate monitoring, and new H3 processor.
   – **Apple Watch Ultra 3**: Anticipated to include 5G RedCap support, hypertension sensors, and satellite capabilities.
   – **Apple Watch Series 11**: Will retain the same design but incorporate high blood pressure detection.
   – **Apple Watch SE 3**: Updated with a new S-class chip, enhancing the current SE model’s features.



4. **Apple Home Products**:
   – Apple is prioritizing smart home technology and plans to introduce new products.
   – **‘HomePad’**: A new smart home command center using homeOS.
   – **New Apple TV 4K**: Expected to be compatible with Apple Intelligence and powered by an upgraded A-class chip.
   – **HomePod mini 2**: Will feature a new Wi-Fi modem and better integration with Apple’s home ecosystem.


5. **Miscellaneous Updates**:
   – **AirTag 2**: Expected to introduce a new Ultra Wideband chip offering improved range and privacy features.
   – **Studio Display 2**: Will maintain its 27-inch size but includes MiniLED technology and likely camera upgrades.



6. **Potential Additional Products**:
   – Reports suggest updates for high-end products such as **Vision Pro** and **Pro Display XDR** are also in the pipeline. There are rumors of an M5 Vision Pro update possibly launching late this year or early next year and speculations about a Pro Display XDR 2.

With these anticipated launches, the remainder of the year promises a wealth of new Apple hardware to look forward to.
