The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is making a comeback this year, complete with a rotating bezel. Recent CAD-based renders have leaked, revealing the watch’s squircle-shaped case, which takes design cues from last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra. Interestingly, earlier rumors suggest the standard Galaxy Watch 8 might also sport the same case design.
Samsung’s Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic are slated to launch in early July, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The Watch 8 Classic is expected to come in a single 46/47mm size and is likely to feature a 450 mAh battery.
The device is expected to feature a 1.5-inch round screen and measure 46 x 46.5 x 14.2 mm. It will be offered in both LTE and non-LTE variants. While specifics are scarce, it’s likely the watch will run One UI 8 Watch, potentially built on the newly announced Wear OS 6, at launch.
