Samsung has expanded availability of its apps, including Notes, Gallery, and Cloud, to non-Galaxy Windows laptops. Previously, these proprietary apps were exclusive to Samsung’s own devices. Now, users can download them directly from the Microsoft Store on any Windows machine.
To use some of these apps, you’ll need to sign in with a Samsung Account. When launching Galaxy Notes, a disclaimer appears noting that it’s optimized for Galaxy Books and might experience issues on other devices.
Samsung’s developer account on the Microsoft Store offers a range of apps, including Notes, Cloud, Gallery, Screen Recorder, Galaxy Buds, Bixby, Samsung Studio, and Phone.
